Magsaysay Holds Bloodletting Program 2016
Magsaysay, in cooperation with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and St. Luke’s Medical Center Global, held a simultaneous Bloodletting Program last August 4, 2016 in Magsaysay and Times Plaza Buildings.
The bloodletting activity, which was spearheaded by Homer Foundation, Inc. and Magsaysay HSES Department, encouraged MPs to share the gift of life through blood donation. The 6-hour blood donation drive yielded a total of 78 blood bags which were turned over to PRC.
MPs availed of free health and wellness services such as body massage and facial cleansing from Skin and Body Essentials; eye check-up from Top Optical; and nutrition counselling from Fit and Strong Wellness Hub.
Since 2005, Magsaysay has been advocating for voluntary blood donations to ensure adequate blood supply for the country.
