Costa Crociere Foundation EAP Application Guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS
The Costa Crociere Foundation Educational Assistance Program (CCFEAP) is offered to 1st degree and 2nd degree( visit link for definition of 2nd degree) relatives of our Costa crew members who wants to have a future on board or in five star hotels and restaurant. These are the courses offered:  Professional Culinary Arts, Professional Baking and Pastry, Professional Food and Beverage and Professional Housekeeping Services  at MIHCA Manila or MIHCA Cebu.

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age, but not to exceed twenty four (24) years of age
  • High School Graduate
  • With Good Moral Character

REQUIREMENTS (SCANNED COPY)
  • Accomplished Scholarship Application Form (follow the link)
  • Birth Certificate – PSA Certified Copy
  • High School or College Diploma
  • For High school graduate: Form 137
  • For College Level or Graduates: Transcript of Records or any proof of attending a formal education
  • If employed, Certificate of Employment and recent payslip (last 2 months)
  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of the parents or Certificate of Tax Exemption from the BIR – authenticated by BIR or Certification from barangay if unemployed
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character certified by the school authority
  • 2x2 ID picture
  • NBI Clearance
  • Barangay Clearance​

Applicants are required to undergo the following examinations administered by an accredited partner of HFI (to be scheduled): 
  • Behavioral and English Assessment Examination; Applicant must meet the 60% passing rate of the English (written) assessment and the English Language competency level must fall in Intermediate or above. 
  • Medical Examination; This consist of urine, stool, x-ray, CBC, drug test, physical and psychological examination.

HFI shall review all valid applications and schedule qualified candidates for the qualifying examination and panel interview with the CCFEAP Committee.  The selection shall be based on the following factors:
  • Overall rating of the applicant in the qualifying examination and interview
  • Overall rating of the qualifications based on the eligibility for the CCFEAP
