Magsaysay Holds Entrepreneurship Expo and Forum
Homer Foundation, Inc. in partnership with Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) and Magsaysay Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MAGCOOP), conducted the Negosenso 2016: Magsaysay Entrepreneurship Expo and Forum last September 24, 2016 at Robert Hall, Times Plaza Building, Ermita, Manila. The forum is conducted annually to create entrepreneurs out of Magsaysay crew and allottees.
The forum was spearheaded by Go Negosyo, an advocacy of the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship that encourages Filipinos to engage in entrepreneurship. Go Negosyo successful entrepreneurs highlighted three major topics, including Entrepreneurship Mindset by Jorge Noel Wieneke, Opportunity Spotting by Victor Madlangbayan, and Marketing 101 by Carlo Calimon.
Joining the 250 Magsaysay crew and allottees were Alfonso A. Pablo, Jr., Crew and Family Relations Head of MMC; Rommel V. Villasfer, Operations Manager of MAGCOOP; and Marilyn B. Pacete, Crew and Family Relations Operations Manager of MMC.
