MP contingent participates in 6th Fame Fun Run

A strong contingent of Magsaysay people recently participated in the 6th FAME “Go Marino Go” Fun Run held at the SM Mall of Asia grounds last September 2, 2012.   In recognition of the valuable contribution of our seafarers to the maritime industry, various manning and ship management companies attended the said occasion, where a total of 4,000 registered runners took part. Close to 500 MP’s from Magsaysay Maritime Corporation, Magsaysay MOL, Magcoop, PeopleServe, Magsaysay Transport and Logistics Group (MTLG), Magsaysay Institute of Shipping (MIS), A. Magsaysay Inc. (AMI), Lorenzo Shipping, HOMER Foundation, Keymax and MARE Wives Clubs and other various fleets and interest clubs actively joined the 3k, 5k and 10k competitions.

Afterwards, Magsaysay, spearheaded by the Human Resource Department of MPRC, also held its own awarding program in recognition of its own outstanding runners, for the 3k, 5k and 10k categories.

1st Place - Anna Dalit (LSC)

3rd Place - Arliezel Medinilla (MMC)

5k MALE:

1st Place - Arnold Ortiz (LSC)
2nd Place - Rainier Martinez (LSC)
3rd Place - Arjay Bautista (MMC - Son of MCB)

5k FEMALE:

1st Place - Krys Pujante (TLG)
2nd Place - Kristine Castro (TLG)
3rd Place - Aileen Magpayo (Shiplink)

10k MALE:

1st Place - Timothy Jones (MOL)
2nd Place - Alexander Querol (MMC)
3rd Place - Rainier Mendiola (AMI)
