MP's JOIN LAUNCHING OF PROJECT DORIS
Over 200 of our Magsaysay MP volunteers took part in the launching of Project Doris held last Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Habitat Relocation Site, Sampaguita Dulo, Brgy. Tanza, Navotas City. The volunteers were composed of our Magsaysay office employees, Principal Representatives, our Crew, allottees and their families, and our Magsaysay Institute of Shipping Trainees, Cadets and Students. Ms. Yvonne Lih, Chief Finance Office of Habitat for Humanity Philippines, officially welcomed the volunteers from Magsaysay, while Mr. Fernando S. Lopez, Chief Finance Officer of Magsaysay, gave an inspirational message to all our employees.
The contingent was deeply involved in activities such as Brick Laying, Hauling of Concrete, Cementing of Hollow Blocks, Sand Sieving and Painting during the whole day long affair. Succeeding volunteer builds have been set on February 18, 25; March 10, 24 and April 14 and 21, where we expect to finish the construction of 127 homes by May or June of the current year.
